Miss Becky: Becky brings to the studio 20 years of dance experience, 14 of them right here at The Ann Mercedes Dance Center/The Corner Dance Studio. Having studied dance on scholarship at the prestigious Roger Williams University in Rhode Island and at C. W. Post, she is a graduate of  Binghamton University where she majored in Business Management. While there she was the President of the Binghamton Kickline. During her last semester, she was a teacher’s assistant for a college level jazz class taught by Professor Fred Weiss. At C.W. Post, our Miss Becky was a part of the Post Concert Dance Company. In addition to her college training, Becky has studied at Broadway Dance Center and  participated in a dance workshop with David Parsons. Becky is an award winning competition dancer who has performed at Six Flags Great Adventure’s Dance Fest, Dance Celebration, and the Tilles Annual Dance Conference. As a backup dancer, she has performed at concerts for KTU’s Dance Factory Live with Coro and Tymz2 for a BLI Rising Stars concert. Her choreography credits include three years with the Hauppauge Middle School and as an instructor at The Dolores Dratch Dance Studio. This past season, our Becky has joined the N.Y.C. New Jazz Roots Dance Company based at Alvin Ailey’s and can be seen performing at various prestigious venues around New York City.
